Mission statement

By working together, we ensure every child can achieve their potential in a safe and supportive environment. As a school we will lay the foundations for a lifelong love of learning in all our children. Help all members of Cornholme to persevere and believe in their abilities. Be involved in the wider community of Cornholme, Todmorden and beyond.

Our new rooms above reception and nursery classes are ready!

We would like to say thank you to all the children, parents and staff for making this such a huge success. The children really enjoyed designing their noses and looked great dressed in red! We had so many donations of cakes so we were all able to enjoy these delicious treats. We raised a massive £355.92 which is fantastic!

Scarlet Fever

Please can parents be aware that we have had confirmed cases of Scarlet Fever. If you or your child have Scarlet Fever you MUST see your Doctor for confirmation. Signs and symptoms can be as follows: sore throat, headache, high temperature, flushed cheeks, swollen tongue, pink rash which will be itchy and it will feel like sandpaper to touch. According to the NHS website Scarlet Fever is contagious for up to 3 days before symptoms show. Once your child has had 24hrs or a full days dose of Antibiotics they can then return to school. Thank you for your co-operation.
